The official name of Germany is the Federal republic of Germany. Germany is member of G-8 and G-20, and it's economy is one of the largest in the world. Auto and other machines producing as well as chemical industries are the most notable branches of manufacturing. Besides industries, a significant role is played by service sector, especially tourism and transportation.
